How to get Book ID in WordPress

If you are using the RS WP Book Showcase plugin, you may need to retrieve the Book ID for various customization and display purposes. In this article, I will show you how to retrieve the Book ID from your admin dashboard effortlessly.

To get your book ID please follow these steps:

• Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
• Navigate to the “RS WP Book Showcase” menu in the admin sidebar.
• Click on “All Books” to view the list of books managed by the plugin.
• Hover over the book whose ID you want to find and click on “Edit” or simply click on the book title.
• Look at the URL in your browser’s address bar. The book ID is typically visible in the URL. It appears after the “post=” parameter. For example, if the URL is “https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=123&action=edit“, then the book ID is 123.
